Coastal Fertility Medical Center's 13th Annual Miracle
Babies Halloween Reunion is Another Huge Success!
The
13th annual Miracle Babies Halloween Party was a huge success this year! Over
450 parents and 350 children (dressed as spooky ghosts and goblins, dashing
superheroes and beautiful princesses) shared the opportunity to celebrate their
very special origins with Dr. Werlin and his team of specialists. Even Fox Television
joined in the excitement as they came out to cover the event on their news broadcast,
capturing the children’s exuberance as they played and partied with other
families. The Orange County Register also came out to photograph the fun. The
children paraded their festive costumes in the Halloween costume contest, sang
their hearts out with karaoke, and enjoyed the laughter of other children who
share their common bond through the miracle of their births.
Patricia Wilson, who has made headlines with her unique story, was
also in attendance with her son after flying from across the country to join
in the festivities. Dr. Werlin offered Patricia new hope after she had been
told by eight different doctors that she would never have a child. Using 14-year-old
frozen embryos donated by another couple, Dr. Werlin was able to make Patricia’s
dream of motherhood come true with the birth of her son, Nathan, earlier this
year. The Wilsons and other families blessed by the miracle of life were delighted
to spend the day with those who share the joy of parenthood, and overcame great
challenges to achieve it.
